Senior Concrete Inspector
Our Seattle client, an established special-inspection firm, is seeking a Senior Concrete Inspector focused on advanced inspection methods and rigorous documentation for complex projects across the Puget Sound region. Seattle's seismic requirements, tech-campus construction, and infrastructure work demand inspectors who can handle the most challenging elements and produce the detailed technical reporting these projects require. This is a role for a meticulous, technically deep inspector.
About the Role
Your days will focus on the hardest inspection work — specialized elements, advanced testing equipment, and the detailed checklists and quality plans that complex projects need. You'll coordinate testing programs, verify laboratory quality and calibration, and produce inspection reports with real technical analysis and corrective-action recommendations. Seismic detailing and high-performance concrete are routine, and your documentation will need to withstand scrutiny.
By six months your projects will have the most thorough, defensible documentation in the firm, your quality plans will be the template others follow, and engineers will rely on your technical analysis. You'll have mentored junior inspectors on the harder inspection situations.

- Use advanced testing equipment and verification methods to assess concrete quality
- Develop detailed inspection checklists and quality plans tailored to each project
- Coordinate testing programs and verify laboratory quality and equipment calibration

- Interface with engineers, architects, and client representatives on technical concrete matters
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent inspection experience
